Catriona Hall
Almost always left-facing and often rather portly, the creatures depicted by Catriona Hall are largely based on those that surround her studio on the edge of the moors in the High Peak. Using an earthy palette, Catriona’s work is stylised and pared down to the basic shapes but she attends closely to markings and colourings of her subjects lending a certain realism to otherwise quirky renderings.
